My latest watercolor in progress

Here's the watercolor I'm working on now... come back and see the finished painting in a few weeks. The final painting will be 7.5" x 17" The close-up photo (with the quarter) shows how small it is. Why do I paint this way? Because I want to! There are easier (and more profitable) ways to make paintings, but I'm just doing what I believe I do best. I think that's what we artists are supposed to do.

    Love it!! I so wanted to sign up for the watercolor workshop in May, but my mother would never forgive me for skipping out on her Mother's Day lunch. ;) Hopefully this fall!!
